Today I am going to tell about Oracle CRM On Demand, which is basically a CRM service located in the cloud (internet) or hosted within one's own data center based on Siebel CRM core technologies and what is even more important, data model. The service has been available in the past as part of Siebel Systems offering andhas been resurrected by Oracle after taking Siebel Systems over. Not only resurrected, but enchanced and made available to wide market.

One of the obstacles to date of making Oracle On Demand popular in Poland has been lack of Polish localization. Even for Siebel On Premise (standard Siebel), official Polish localization has been introduced with release 8.1.1 earlier this year and until then, we were providing all Polish localized versions for almost every implementation of Siebel CRM in Poland. This has changed now and Oracle On Demand is available in Polish starting last September. Of course, there is a catch and Polish is not available as one of available languages once you sign up for the trial on the oracle.com/ondemand page, but after you complete the registration and start using the solution, one may switch the language to Polish and be greeted with quite usable translation.
